Complaint Review: HID Country

HID Country Lied, Stalled, Failed to ship, Failed to refund, Rude conduct Sarasota, Florida

I ordered LED Day time driving light in October, 2011.  HID stated a two to four week delivery, and took my $145 dollars 3 days after the online transaction.  I waited six weeks then called in the first week of December.

Talked to a guy named Gerald I believe (I could be wrong on the person, its been awhile).  He stated they were having "customs" issues clearing the parts but they should be shipped in two weeks.  I waited until the last week of December, and called again.

This time I got a women (I didn't get her name).  She stated they were changing the manufacturer and I could get strip (neon like) or multi-LED, which would I like.  I asked for the multi-LED.  She said they would be shipped within two weeks.

I wait until the first week of February, still no parts!  I call and ask for a refund and the women says she doesn't know why the parts weren't sent they are in stock.  I said since they are in stock just ship them.  She promises they will be shipped and I should have them with in two weeks. 

The two weeks go by and I send an email asking for a status on my order, then leave for my vacation.  I never get a response to my email.  So I call and get the same story, I don't know why, there in stock, etc.  I ask for a refund and the man on the phone says he will send in a request for refund. It should be processed in two to four weeks.

Well guess what the four weeks has passed and still no parts or refund.  I call again and get a very rude from da-hood guy.  I again ask for a refund and he gets ruder and says he will send a request, then hangs up!!  I call back and get the same guy and ask who he would send the request for and the amount he replies "you know who and how much" then hangs up!! I call back a third time and inform him that I am not going to go away and he states "now I am not going to send in a refund request at all, and again hangs up!!

Please be aware I was never abusive, rude nor did I use any profanity.  There was absolutely no reason for him to be rude or hang up.         

I am still out my $145 and wish to warn others not to shop with this company!
