Was looking for some HID lights for my vehicle and found HIDCountry.COM during my google searches. This product was advertised as high quality German made products, but when I got them, there were no labels on the ballasts or markings of any kind to identify the manufacturer. Ordered the product and received it in a reasonable amount of time. I tested the product as soon as I received it and this is when the problem started. One on the ballasts for the product was bad out of the box. I tried emailing them to get a new one shipped, but no answer to 5 or 6 emails. Then I tried calling theirnumber, which has not answered over about 10 calls in a month. The number just rings a couple of times, clicks and hangs up.

This transaction was disputed through paypal and HIDCountry.com told me to ship the product back after several days of attempting contacting them through paypal. The only contact I got back from them was when I disputed the transaction on paypal. I shipped the product back to them and sent copies of the documents that arrived with the product. I will note that I paid an additional fee for the lifetime warranty. Still have not received a replacement ballast, nor have had any contact from HIDCountry.com.

So the first complaint is we advertise "high quality German products"

No where on our website do we advertise any German products. Not one of our products in our entire line come from Germany. 2nd we would never advertise that because a German Hid kit is a 55w kit. Our kits are 35w which is from China.

The 2nd complaint is "no labels or identification on the product."

It is very illegal not to have any markings on the ballast or bulbs number 1. Number 2 how would you know the color of the bulb or the wattage with no markings? It would be the same thing as going to by paint from the store and the paint can had no markings, which means you wouldn't know the color of the paint until you got home and opened the can. Make any sense? No. The same is said with having no markings on the ballast or bulb. It just wouldn't make any sense which is why that claim is absurd.

3rd complaint is "One on the ballasts for the product was bad out of the box"

We asked you to simply ship the defective product back so we could exchange it. We ask you to ship out first in case the product is not bad at all and it was a mistake on your part of hooking it up. The other reason we ask you to send the product back first is, if we were to send you a new ballast or bulb and the original was never bad and you kept both, now you have 2 parts for the price of one.

4th complaint is " I tried emailing them to get a new one shipped, but no answer to 5 or 6
emails.  Then I tried calling their number, which has not answered over about 10 calls in a month."

This is a statement that is ridiculous to the point of being offensive. If we never answered any phones or e-mails we would not be in business. I very much think this is a false statement just to make someone feel sorry for you and your complaint.

You complained to pay pal and guess what? They made you send back the product as well before we shipped you out a new one. It's not an uncommon thing for an internet business to ask you to ship the "defective" merchandise back before they ship you a new one. If you do not like this practice then please do not order from company's that are an internet business as most of them will require you to send back the product before sending you new ones. Please do not lie about your story either. It just makes you look bad and it makes your whole complaint look really false.
