Complaint Review: Hidden Dinner

hidden dinner has secret locations for the dinners,  but technically they don't hide location from anyone once you sign up.

They charge a whopping $75-125 pp! The food, to make it short, is below elementary. In other words, boiled mushrooms with soy sauce, over cooked soggy rice are just a few examples. This isn't an exaggeration. In fact over the past 5 years, I've written at least 3 Yelp reviews that have been deleted entirely. The people at the dinners who I've met also left their honest negative reviews and all of them completely deleted.. Poof! They must know someone that works at Yelp because the reviews were deleted within a few days of being written.

this so called hidden dinner is a scam. First of all more than half the people are the cook's friends(definitely not chef). They didnt pay! So all paying diners think wow they are so popular food must be good. Also, this crowd is not a bunch of foodies that know what basic good food is like, these are teenagers to the older anti- social types, not there for food, but more for personal desperate social reasons.

simply go on Yelp and look at the photos of the food, you'll laugh at the crap they serve! The $100 dinner cost them under $10 in ngredients, the thing is they don't use anything out of the ordinary just the same old calling it something special when in reality everything is boiled bland. They didn't even have decent atmosphere, it's basically disorganized, lack luster, bad service. I had a thug with sagging jeans dump the plate on the table to me. How lovely. What a waste of my hard earned money and time.

They didn't serve water, had a mixed lemonade drink that was lukewarm with an over load of mint bits, it's was disgusting. The staff are literally a bunch of idiots running around and the food was about an hour behind schedule it took 3 hours just to get to the main course. Over cooked wet rice, soy sauce chicken and a mushroom with red wine saturated, no salt or flavor, it was unbelievable. The plate was runny, baby food. At that point, I knew we were gonna have to eat fast food. It was a miserable awful dinner.
