This software doesn't work people, don't buy from this company, it is a pure scam. 100% rip-off. Spend yout money somewhere else.
Beware of this company folks, I purchased this software from hide-my-ip-address.com and found the software slow and always closing and closing again and again. Upgrades well the upgrades nor the customer service was helpful. Actually aweful.
You ask for help, you end up waiting a couple of days to hear for an answer. There help desk people aparently is one guy as he is the only help desk through 14525 SW Millikan Way is useless folks. Their customer service is: www.myhelphub.com
It is a pure scam folks, no refunds, no service but replies like have a nice day, so we can't help you. It is such a joke.
Contact, noop, take a ticket and wait for a reply but more so people, there is no refunds. They leave your purchase link open for about maybe a week, then they terminate the link so you can't download the software
anymore. You have to file a complaint or service help where you have to wait and wait again. The price you pay for this software and the service you get, it not what to expect.
It is a pure 110% ripoff and to make things even more clear, you want to file for a chargeback because
they won't refund your money, they put your name on a black list for credit cards so you can't get a credit card. Seriously people, this is pure blackmail for doing business with people like this. That's a terrible, post yourself after doing business with them and they can't garrantee the product for a refund.
The bottom line is, if you don't like this software, forget about getting a refund. Contact your bank and dispute the charge, cyber-post your complaint.
These people are not helpful at all. I have all this feedback going back and forth for a 2 months and the software sucks still.
Don't buy this product, it is a scam ripoff. There website is just a pretty image to make you buy it but when you download the software and try this software, you'll find out it is a cheap search engine that hides your ip address but 50% of the time or greater the engine shuts off. You have to log on again and again to get it to work, it is crap.
If you look on torrents, there is a lot of free cracks on all sorts of hide ip software, free folks but more so, windows does offer a hide ip option which most people don't know about.
Also beware of their in house customer service from Hide-My-Ip-Address.com named Andrea, this woman is a complete waste of time. All she does is argue and says nothing but to tell you, no refunds. She says you made the agreement by buying the software on their homepage but where is the refund information, you can't find it after you have problems with this Hide-My-Ip-Address.com
Have suggestions for them, forget it. They just want your money and they lock it, so you can never get it back. So you have to file chargeback but they threaten you with a credit card bank list to credit card companies.
Please people save your money and go on torrents and type hide ip and many cracks will pull up to save to money and not get ripped off.

I am making a change in my decision about Hide-my-ip-address.com on my ripoff report I left about them and I want to say I apologize for making this report. While they are not perfect as businesses have problems as Mobile Home Park Magazine did but nobody is perfect. I am not a fan of RR and wished I never used this site for making complaints on businesses. Since they do not allow authors to remove reports I am left leaving a sorry note to Hide-my-ip-address.com. I was complaining over on their refund and was having problems with their ip software. I have to request a dozen times to get money back and really had to keep asking. I made this report on what I went through to get it back.
I understand their a business and sometimes things can be difficult and dealing with customers, I didn’t make it any easier but I tried to write to time. I made this report as I was upset and I really regretted writing this report. I want people to do well in their business and I want to say I am sorry for making this report on Hide-my-ip-address.com
I am sorry I made this report, please accept my apologies as I had a change of heart and want to say I am sorry as much as I think they may feel the same way.

I have looked into alot of this software and I have come to the conclusion without really slowing down your computer none of this software will work. Also depending on what your downloading if it really needs to be hidden then you probably shouldn't be downloading it. Downloading music and software is a joke. Unless your downloading more then anyone else in your town or thru your isp No one will care. THe music companies and exc. are only going after the top pirates now. And if your doing illegal activities such as illegal porn. Then this software company will gladly give you up if someone presents a warrant which they will do in a case of that sort. So in otherwards nothing you do online will ever be private. All these programs are a complete scam.

I wish I had read your post first.
I am having the same problem you are, they sent me a threatening email saying they would black list me to other e-commerce.
I did do a charge-back with American Express and got my money back anyway. As what they did was illegal you can not threaten people, and they have no legal way of giving you a bad rep with other company's.
Their product does not work it just shut my computer down.
