Hifisoundconnection.com Hifi Sound Connection Advertising Products They Do Not Have Nixa Missouri

On July 14, 2013, I went to hifisoundconnection.com to purchase a Gemini GVX-Sub18p DJ Powered Subwoofer I need for an event on July 20, 2013 for $480.00. I made the purchase based on the representation made by hifisoundconnection.com that the product was in stock and ready to ship. I called hifisoundconnection.com on July 16, 2013 when I was yet to receive any confirmation email that my order was being processed and the hifisoundconnection.com agent I spoke to told me that the problem was a payment issue which came from Paypal. I then proceeded to call Paypal and spoke to a customer service agent who disputed the claim and called hifisoundconnection.com on a three way (myself, the Paypal agent and hifisoundconnection.com). While on the three way, the hifisoundconnection.com agent confirmed and admitted that the problem indeed came from them because the product I ordered was not in stock. I then registered my displeasure stating that if they knew that the product was not in stock why then did they list it as in stock and ready to ship. I asked for a full refund of the purchase price of $480.00 which he guaranteed would be made by 4pm on July 16, 2013. I called again on July 17, 2013 to inform Paypal that my refund was not put through and also asked Paypal where money was removed from my account when hifisoundconnection.com did not process my order. I was told by the Paypal agent that hifisoundconnection.com processed the order and that is why Paypal released the funds. So he called and put us on a threeway call again and we spoke to a hifisoundconnection.com customer service agent who said that they are processing it and it will take two to three days to get the refund. I told her that I need the money today (July 17, 2013) ASAP to get a replacement product before Saturday July 20, 2013 and she was very rude saying that there was nothing they could do and she proceeded to hang up on us. It is bad enough that hifisoundconnection.com made me alter my position by making a purchase of a product that they knew was not in stock (based on their misrepresentation of the fact) but they now cannot keep to their word of making a prompt refund and to add insult to injury their rude agent could not even apologise and for their ineptitude but however hung up on me. This has put a strain on me because I need the money to buy the product for my event on July 20, 2013. As of today July 17, 2013 hifisoundconnection.com still lists the product as in stock and ready to ship thereby misrepresenting the facts and deceiving innocent customers to make a purchase of a product that they know is not in stock. This is bad business practice.
