I saw an online ad for a

2008 carry on trailer 5x10g for $660.00
2990lbs GVWR
ST 250 X 15" Tires
6 ply rated, 2000 lbs top wind jack
Fully lighted to DOT Specs
2" A Frame Coupler w/Safety Chain
2x8 pressure treated luber floor
3500lbs cambered Axles
3500 Eye to Eye Spring Assembly
16" Solid V Crimped Steel Sides.

at High Country Trailer. So I see Mike at High Country Trailer, who takes me to another lot to see the trailer and shows me a.

2008 CARRY ON TRAILERS CARGO - $660
2,000 lbs. GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)
12" Load Range C Tires
Fully Lighted to DOT (Department of Transportation) Specifications
1-7/8" Coupler w/Safety Chain
Wire Mesh Floor & Gate
2,000 lbs. Slipper Spring Assembly

He tells me that this is the unit for $660 which is clearly not what is stated in the advertisement. He tells me he will have to call the manufacturing company to find out what is going on and that he can not reach them until Saturday Morning. Later in the evening the content of the ad changed to reflect the lesser trailer I was shown, but not before I printed the ad.

On Saturday he says the one I am looking for, which is the one in the ad is $1195.00. Now this is completely false advertising as well as bait and switch advertising.

He tells me that the manufacturer of the trailer puts the info on his site for the trailer but he would not call them and ask if we can get the advertised price. I am not looking to cause trouble but when a product is advertised for one price and you go to get it and then the price doubles, that is not really fair.
