First of all High Energy Concepts is one of the BIGGEST scams in south florida. This is what went down. I received an email from "HR" saying they found my resume and would like to schedule an interview with me. So I agreed. Mind you the email came in about 2am.. Raised an eyebrow. So onto the interview process, typical hole in the wall office building with a secretary, office manager, and then there's the morning "hype" room.  Basically all the current employees meet up early in the morning with coffee donuts and some music trying to amp up the day. Did I mention I didn't get to speak to the manager until they were done stuffing there faces? So yea I had the luxury of sitting with the secretary and watch what was going down. Now the office manager finally approaches me, asks typical questions, "What are you looking for ultimately with us?" "Are you money motivated" says this is a career opportunity with a lot of advancement and "not a job." Never once did he actually tell me what I'd be doing, but he did tell me he became office manager within his first 8months. At this point I'm completely convinced it's a total scam, but then it got even better. Being that my resume and credentials were top of the line, he insisted I paired up with the owner of the whole operation for personal 1 on 1 training. So now I'm thinking ok maybe this won't be so bad after all.. The owner - Ren, proceeds to tell me about the product. It's called FastWax which is endorsed by "Nascar" .. BULLFECES.. It's some 2nd string racer who never made it as a pro Nascar driver, if he's even a racer. It's pure marketing material. He takes me to a gas station and sets up his little stand and shows me how to market the product by walking up to people and giving them a demo on how the product works.. So you shine up the rim, shine up the headlight and shine up a spot on the car and then WOW them with how well it works. Now Ren tells me I needed to do this for about 6months before I could grow into an office management position. But wait, the guy who interviewed me told me it took him 8months.. So I started asking questions as to why I needed to sit out in front of a gas station for 6months to learn how to give demo's. He then tells me if he were to just appoint me an office and a team that it would fail. (I was currently a call center manager for ADT) go figure.. So I explained to him that I wasn't naive and that I understand how his operation worked and that he could trust me with an office and I could find my own team to sell his product. He was stunned speechless.. told me he'd give me a call.. So I left, 2 weeks later I get another email from "HR" saying we want to schedule an interview. It was the exact same process. SERIOUSLY?! What kind of HR dept doesn't keep track of who the hell they hire? Now I'd also like to mention for kicks and giggles, that the rims and paint I had on my car at that particular time without a doubt had more value more then Rens rust bucket. Owner of a such a great company who had offices all over florida, (of course) and expanding but couldn't afford a nicer vehicle. This company is a full blown sham.. They generally target kids in highschool/college naive enough to buy into there feces.

So in conclusion, if you've seen those guys sitting on the side of the gas station trying to demo there products on your vehicle, that's your "CAREER OPPORTUNITY" with High Energy Concepts. You'll never reach management because there is none.
