Complaint Review: High Society adult entertainment

I was charged $65 for a 30 second peek at an adult entertainment site. I was stupid enough to use my credit card to verify I was over 18. It stated this is for verification only...you will not be charged.

What a sucker I was. Next VISA statement all these separate charges appear from companies outside the US. When calling the 800 number to verify what service I allegedly bought, they informed me I had subscribed to High Society at a rate of $2.00 a day. What a scam. Most men would be too embarassed to complain and thats how they zap your money.

If this happens to you, call your credit cards fraud unit! They will dispute the charges on your behalf. Some would say I deserve this. Nobody should be ripped off. I learned my lesson. (Worst punishment of all, I had to tell my wife.)
