Recieved a letter stating that I was a winner in a National Lotto Co-Operation Sweepstakes Lottery held on May 24th, 2008 in the 2nd category.

Letter stated that I would need to pay $2995.00 to the assigned tax agent - Smith Rickman. I called and it sounded as though I woke him up and he was very rude when I asked his name.

There was an actual check for $4995.98 that was supposedly deducted from my $150,000.00 in winnings. I was told to deposit the check and then call him back for further instructions.I did not try to cash it.

I called him back to let him know that I thought he was runnung a scam and he hung up on me.
