Applied to a job offer promising paid training for managerial work..got called for an interview, I showed up...came back for the second interview..I was hired..promised up to $575 a week...paid training, no experience required..I "got the job" Was told to bring a notebook and pen to take notes....on my second day, they already had us out in store parking lots selling cheap imitations of name brand perfumes and colognes for $30 each....was promised paid training....ended up being no base pay at all...only off of commission of each bottle we sell...manufacturer is out of Georgia....same job adverstisment,

same crummy meetings listening to a guy speak about bring broke, changed his life around...etc, etc...same exact scam for job seekers as it was 10 years ago...this guy doesn't have a license to sell these...and us unsuspecting job seekers get scammed into selling cheap knock off perfumes for 80% off....office building is crappy, no computers of filing cabinets...and the same crappy chairs we sit in and take notes, same cheap bottles as before...it's totally illegal, and they send US job-desperate people to do the illegal part... and it's not right. Save the rest of the unsuspecting people.

I had responded to the company's job posting by calling them inquiring about the posting at Highline Inc in Austin. It said, they'll train. The call was so quick that I've realized my information wasn't taken but was told I would receive information regarding the job. I did not receive anything so I called back to give my phone number (that way I could receive the "text") regarding the pertinent information. Again, I received nothing. So an hour later, I called yet again. The woman who answered the phone all three times couldn't get my information correct so I flat out asked if this was a legitimate company. She quickly replied, no. I said okay, thank you and hung up. Note to anyone who question the legitimacy of any company, pay attention to tale tell signs that will save you time and stress. I only lost time being on the phone with Highline Inc. Best of luck.

I have been in business for over 20 years and about once a year I have someone start (TRAINING) to become a manager and in the first 1-2 day's they quit as they do with everything. They then go online and say We are doing something wrong to them. when in reality if they just went through training they would have been placed in a position as a manager making 50-60k just like what happened to me with only 7 weeks of learning sales, management and administration. We are very upfront with what we do and how we do it and if you can get a good job making enough money to meet your living expenses then, by all means, go do it. However if you're like most people between 18 and 30 without the necessary skills to earn a higher living wage like the lady in her 40's with her previous employment being 7-11. Then what other options do you have? We focus on being a solution in developing managers in three areas of our very successful marketing company. Training is an earn while you learn process with no money ever out of your pocket and we do have people in training at our Austin location that are earning 500-1000 per week while we help grow them both business wise as well as personally. The First area would be working side by side with experienced people, going with them to their territories, and learning all the ins and outs of how we deal with our customers. The second area would be assisting in the management of others. The third area would be learning how to run the office itself. Learning classes, meetings, and overseeing the day to day operations . Once training is completed you would get promoted to marketing, office or admin manager doing the skill you love in a location we pay for and set up. That is when you start managing as a job. This is the same way I was trained and how I got my company and from there I have trained 1000's and have opened 100's of people into their own companies. We have all the licensing in my office as well as computers in a totally hip updated office. We have the support of our city, our community, and our church. We are parents and business owners with a huge business associate fan base . Every day people ask us how we became who we are and how we have the life we have and zero people that worked with us for more than a week would say these things. If you want to take advice from less than 10 people in 20 years that quit and called us the reason they are stuck then I get it, however, if you truly want help getting unstuck and you have a great attitude and work ethic and the willingness to train for 60 days then we will work harder for you than you will ever work for us. Thank You Michael
