Hilton Grand Vacations Took money, never delivered materials, want more money to avoid forfeiting my original payment Orlando Florida
In July 2016, I was transferred to Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) after booking a room at a Hilton property. I paid approx. $300 for a 3 night stay in Washington DC. I didn't confirm dates as I wanted to surprise my wife. They promised to mail and email more information. Nothing arrived.
I tried calling and leaving voicemails, no response. After several months I gave up.
In December 2017, I was told that I received a call telling me I needed to pay $100 right away or I would forfeit my money (the one for the stay them promised but never delivered). I finally got an email wishing me a "Grand Day".
In January 2017, I received the same call. I got a number to call, but it leads to a voicemail system that I must know the extension. There is no option for a directory, and if you hit 0, your call is disconnected.
After over an hour, I managed to track someone down who could help. It seems I can't book a vacation now because my record is locked. Two voicemails and an email later, still nothing.
Either they are legitimate and ridiculously incompetent, or I've wasted my time on a fraud.
