I purchased a dog from Leo Hinojosa allegedly trained and ready to title in french ring for a client. I drove from Maryland to Michigan to pick up the dog. Leo gave me a list of commands and everything the dog alledgely knew. As well as a lifetime health gaur.

I got the dog to my client with in 24 hours. A few days later my client took the dog to the vet where it was diagnosed with Heart worm. I contacted Leo and he said he would reimburse for vet bills which were $800 and Leo asked if I could give him the bills as I recieved them. I said no problem. I sent Leo the bills as I got them but could never get a hold of Leo to find out when he would send the payment for the vet bill. when I did finally get in touch with Leo he told me how things were hard right now and how he owed a bunch of people money.

after we spoke I agreed to let him send a little each week until the debt was paid. 6 mos after that I contacted Leo again inquiring about a payment which I still had not recieved. Leo informed me he sent it out and i should be getting it any day. About a week later I recieved a money order for $100. I felt this was not acceptable and sent it back.

I called Leo to find out what was going on, at which time I recieved the same sad story about him owing money to a bunch of people, and that he was waiting to sell a puppy so he could pay me. I inquired about the puppy thinking this might be a way for me to get re-imbursed and away for Leo to get out of debt with me since he bred the puppy and it would have barely cost him any thing. Leo agreed and we discussed shipping the dog to me. I was to pay shipping and Leo was to cover the crate and health certification from the vet so the pupp would be approved to fly.

The day the pup was to arrive, I got to the airport, but there was no puppy to pick up. I called Leo to find out what happened. No answer so I left him a message. He returned the call but instead of calling me he called my girlfriend. Leo told her he didn't ship the pup because his ear got bitten by another dog and had togo to the vet. He went on to say he would ship the puppy when it's ear got better. Two months later I called him again. at which time he did not answer so I left him a message. He then called my girlfriend again and informed her that it was now to cold to ship the puppy.

Since then I have heard nothing from Leo. I have sent him countless numbers of emails, and phone messages to no avail. Because of Leo I have lost $800 as I had to reimburse my client out of my own pocket, I have lost time and money going back and fourth to the airport, I have lost money placing long distance phone calls, and lost a very good client.
