Hiram Waste & Recycling Hiram Waste & Recycling Another example of Hiram rudeness Terrell, Tennessee
It seems eveyone I talk to has at least one good "Hiram story".....each one seems worse than the last. Today my neighbor, who cancelled service months ago, simply asked their driver if he would take her old can away, as it has been sitting in the driveway for 6+ months despite multiple calls to Hiram. The driver is immediately condescending and ends the conversation by crawling back in his truck and calling her a bi*^&. Typical of Hiram, as I had an almost identical experience. These guys just don't get it.....they had the market cornered, but have treated customers poorly for so long that other companies have moved in. Fortunately for Hiram, my neighbor had more patience than I would have had.... My parents had a similar experience as well. My neighbor has been contacting most evryone she knows out here to tell them about her story...I am doing the same in hopes that this little guy finds himself with no customers to harass. The new service (Lone Star) is awesome....very nice to people, reliable, and never a mess in the driveway when they leave. I even called Lone Star to advise them of this.....to his credit, they guy told me the Hiram folks are OK, etc., etc., but I tthink it just shows his class vs. the total arrogance of HIram. Incredible that they have any customers left out here, but I will do my part to spread these stories and try and rid our streets of these jerks.
