I have not used HIRAM WASTE in a year yet they just billed me again???? I had no idea we had another option and until my neighbor who was already furious w/HIRAM WASTE had to threaten to throw her trash in their yard to get them to fix her trash can - told me about IESI so I switched a year ago and have been absolutely thrilled with my new service. -----I notified HIRAM WASTE in writing to pick up the trash can and to stop billing me even though I was already paid up through that quarter because it was worth it to me to pay a 2nd company that would actually show up to pick up my trash on the days they were supposed to. Then, when HIRAM WASTE didn't show up to pick up their can and kept billing me I sent them the SECOND letter.

Now, a year later...1/2 dozen letters later and a ton of voice mails later with no response from them I finally filed a complaint with the BBB moments ago because HIRAM WASTE keeps billing me for a service they do NOT provide. They DIDN'T bother coming when I was using them so I am certainly NEVER going to pay them another cent and they should reimbuse me for that last month of the final quarter when in fact I had already stopped using HIRAM WASTE because they are horrible and should not offer services they cannot provide. Additionally, I just found out from my home owners association that they waited until everyone paid for this quarter and advised they would only come out once a week but haven't offered to reimburse any funds. Stop billing me for a service you do NOT provide to me!!!

Happened to me a few years ago - was paying my bills for trash pick -up. They stopped picking up.

What I was not aware was an error on the part of the company I was with - they turned my account over to another trash collection company - in error. The new company does not service my area at all and I was the only account in the entire neighborhood to have this happen.

When I called them about trash pickup that had been missed several weeks in a row. They told me they did not service my area - so I called the original company and they informed me it was their error. Still made me pay a deposit to re-instate my service - even though I had nothing to do with the switch

We did notify through flyers about our day change. The day changed not the service. We will still pick up anything anybody puts out there. Thats what no one understands. The price you were paying was the same as the people who already had once a week service. If we had stayed at twice a week service the bill would have been almost $100 for a quarter so we went down to one day a week and if people want to put another can out there we have no problem. I hope that Anyone who reads this realizes yes we have gone to one day a week but whatever you put out there for us we will pick it up. I hope that maybe this will clear a few problems up. And the threats about putting it in our yard is not true. That does not scare us due to the fact that if anyone does that they will get an automatic fine from the county and it will cost more than a year of service with us to pay that bill.
