Jerry Smith, owner of HJ Smith Automobiles in Hurst, Texas is a thief and rips off the unsuspecting general public. He sold a 1997 White Honda Accord for three times an unsuspecting mother with a little baby, knowing this car would break down within a few months of purchase. He sold this car, prior to the finance charges being added over three times the Kelly Blue Book value was worth, knowing the vehicle was in terrible condition mechanically and would shortly break down on the young mother with a 4 month old baby. The mother's payments were $150 every two weeks for a car he financed for $6,000, that is barely worth $1,500 in good condition. The transmission turned out to have been bad.

Now after the fact it has become apparent that Jerry Smith, the owner of HJ Smith Automobiles in Hurst, Texas is doing this repeatedly to his own customers. So when the vehicles break down he takes the vehicles back, pockets all of the money he already was paid (however many payments the customer already made) and then briefly fixes the cars to the point that they will temporarily run long enough to sell the vehicle to another customer at an outrageous price. It appears this is how he is making his money and doing this repeatedly. When he was called by a tow company informing him that  this 1997 White Honda Accord had broken down and now was not running, Mr. Jerry Smith was not at all surprised. In fact, his reaction could be explained as the opposite of surprised, more like, yeah he figured as much.
