HMS BLUE Credit Card fraud ripoff scam Nationwide Internet
Warning!! BEWARE of HMS BLUE cramming charges on your credit cards!! I too had to close my credit card account upon the advice of my credit card company, due to an obscure little charge by HMS BLUE. It seems there are many of us out there and the card companies are aware of HMS BLUE and these phony little charges. Make no mistake these charges are an attempt to sneak small little amounts by those who are not diligent in reading their statements each month.
For me, it started out when I called HMS BLUE asking for an explanation of the charges. Their representative didnt even ask me for my name or an account number, she simply asked for the amount of the charge straight away. This was fishy! When I told her $8.95 she said, oh we dont handle those $8.95 charges anymore, you have to call your credit card company for an explanation. Then I said, but you guys put this charge on my card and you need to explain what it is for. She insisted upon my reluctance to let go that she could not help, that my card company alone could give me the answer, thanked me and hung up on me! Total weirdness from these folks at HMS BLUE! Anyway, my credit card company obviously couldnt explain the charges and is acting in good faith to correct the situation. I have sent an affidavit swearing my cooperation in an investigation.
If there are others out there that have this phony charges contact your credit card company so they can investigate the matter, and hopefully get to the fraudulent perpetrator and prosecute them accordingly. And by all means, Do Not Use a Debit Card Online as I have read in other accounts concerning HMS BLUE fraud reports. Debit cards do not offer the same protection and insurance in the event of theft and fraud as do credit cards.
