I bought my brother a helicopter from Hobbytron last November for Christmas. It ws supposed to come with batteries I paid extra for, but no batteries. I wrote to customer service about this and they never did write me or contact me back on this. The helicopter flew great, so I decided to order me one as well, just after Christmas. less than two weeks later I got this helicopter. It was actually quite a bit larger than the one I got my brother but that was ok. I read the instructions and it was then I read that these helicopters are for INDOOR use ONLY. NO where on Hobbytrons website does it state this. A person who has been around RC controlled cars, planes, etc automatically assumes it is to be used outdoors. So Hobbytron hides the fact that it is meant for indoor use ONLY. Had I known this, I would not have bought these helicopters. We do not have gymnasium sized houses to fly these in! Since I just wasted 65 dollars on this helicopter, I decided to charge it up and try flying it in my backyard anyways. There was NO wind outside. It took off straight up, flew good for a minute, then went into the side of the house, and it broke the end of the stabilizing bar. I reglued it back into place. The next day I attempted to fly it in our empty garage, it barely left the ground. After this it wouldnt leave the ground, even after another recharge to the batteries. My brother and I compared the 2 copters and noticed that my helicopter'd blades didnt spin fast enough to take off. There is some problem with the motors or the battery on the helicopter, and no they were not damaged when it flew into the side of the house the first night. I wrote to hobbytron about this incidence and no response after 2 weeks. I filed a "RMA" with them and in it I stated that if they refused to give me my money back then at least help me to fix the helicopter or tell me where I can buy the motors, etc. Once again. nothing for two weeks. I got on their page on facebook page and asked why they wont respond to my emails, and thats when I FINALLY got a response. She just said that, because I flew the helicopter it is no longer under warrenty and they can do nothing. So here I site with a 60 dollar helicopter that wont fly becase it is defective and hobbytron refuses to help
