We booked our room with 1-800 holiday in Feb. 2006 and were give a rate of $126.75 + tax per room per night for a waterpark pkg. We were informed that the 3 rooms had to be paid for in advance so I put it on our credit card 2 nights for a total of $291.52/room. Upon arrival we were told we did not have a waterpark pkg and we would have to come up w/ $200 more for each of our 3 rooms. We had 7 adults & 8 children.

After arrival we came into nothing but uncaring hotel employees. Our satisfaction was NOT their priority they already had our money what did they care. We went to the front desk the 1st evening asked to see a breakfast menu and were told "it's closed you will have to come back in the morning" We chose to spend all food money outside the property for that point. After a few more mishaps our entire group was ready to leave. Including ALL 8 kids. I finally spoke to the general mgr on Tuesday morning before our departure and he informed me that they ONLY require payment in advance on water park pkgs. They had changed our rate to $199 for Sunday and $229 on Monday since we "did not have a water park pkg!" We were screwed out of an additional $600 by the time we checked out.
