I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. When we arrived in our room, I wanted a cup of coffee, they only had 2 bags of decaf and no cream, no sugar or sweet and low. Called for pizza because room info stated that we would get a discount, front desk didn't have any coupons and clerk didn't know how much the discount was. Called to order pizza and they refused to take our order unless we used the room phone, charged us 0.50 plus another $2.52 for long distance. Each meal we were stared at because we had 5 kids with us and finally was "grilled about a coupon" that we never rec'd so that the kids could eat free. My granddaughter is 9 yrs old but is a tall girl, 5'6" and was made to feel bad when they kept asking how old she was. I finally had to become rude and told them she was under 12 and not to ask again. Checked out, got home and the hotel had debited my checking account for $523 instead of the $382 which was the final bill and I had signed for. Hidden charges are $30 per night per room if you pay with a debit card! I was punished for not using my credit card which I believe should only be used for extreme emergencies! They said they held it for 2 weeks in case of incidental charges! I didn't take the rooms with me when I checked out and was going to return them damaged. They had my card number, address, etc and knew how to find me if there was any damages that might come up. I was disgusted with them and this trip by now and I demanded my money back and will never, ever stay at the hotel again. By the way, this was a last minute trip to visit my terminally ill sister who may pass any day now but when and if I have to return to that rundown city, I will not be staying at that desolate hotel.
