I reserved a NON-SMOKING room at Holiday Inn Express and they gave my reserved room to another party and is now billing me for a SMOKING room I did not reserve. I'm a non-smoker and my mother has Pulmonary Fibrosis, a lung disease. I had to sleep in my car for the night after a 16 hour drive from DC metro area to Monroeville, Alabama. And worst, they gave my room to another party after my call to them 1 hour before checkin time to notify them when I would be there to check in and that I still wanted to the room. Even though they promised my NON-SMOKING room would be available when I arrive.
