Complaint Review: Holiday Management Group (HMG)

I just received a call from Trevor of this beyond crooked company. He told me the package I purchased in May 2003 was now expired. I told him that I had a reservation confirmation in front of me that stated I clearly had until May 2005 with a $25 reservation fee due 45 days prior to my reservation date. He told me his new company was now handling all HMG business and the fee had gone up to $99. He told me the contract stated prices were subject to change. I read aloud the entire contract to him, those words were nowhere to be found. He said there in there somewhere, I asked him to tell me where, he couldn't.

I asked to speak to his supervisor and he gave me the rude, obnoxious, and intolerable Doug Aaron. Doug told me if I didn't give them $99 my vacation was null and void. He bluntly told me if I didn't give him the money I have no vacation. I asked why my terms weren't being honored and he refused to answer me. Every question I asked was answered as vaguely as possible. The more questions I asked the ruder he got, then told me if I wouldn't give him the amount they were asking for he couldn't help me and hung up. This man is a thief.

I am so angry right now I could scream. We don't have a lot of money and my family was looking forward to this vacation when my oldest son finishes boot camp at Parris Island in December. Now it's gone and so is my $398.56. To think that my son is wiling to fight to defend the freedom of someone like this grates on my nerves. Doug Aaron should be locked up for what he is doing to people. I WILL report this to anyone who will listen. Stay away from this company. They're nothing but a scam!
