Complaint Review: Hollywood Production Center

 

Stay away from this company. Hollywood Production Offices are the worst place to conduct business. They are very unprofessional and everything they promised they didn't deliver. My company is a start up company and rented a modest office in Mid-December. After being there for less than a month we were over billed on parking we didn't even take. Unfortunately that was the least of our problems. They have tenants that use the office spaces as apartments, so it’s not rare that you will see some people using the common kitchen in bathrobes. Also, they have a cleaning crew for all the offices, which seems very appealing when you consider renting an office. WRONG they come in whenever they want, it doesn't matter if you have files or paperwork on your desk they will move it to where ever they want. We started missing a lot of little things from our office and not wanting to blame anyone without proof, we just asked them to stop the cleaning service. They promised they would, but nothing happened. The cleaning crew kept coming in and out like normal. Now all these things were trivial compared to what they did to us. In less than a month we had moved in, we received an email letting us know that they had rented our office. We were shocked and when I went to see what was going on I was brushed off. I had to make a fuss and later they notified me that when we weren't in the office they were showing it to potential tenants. They tried to sell us on moving to a smaller office for the same rent. After confronting the manager I was told that they had made a mistake and were in a bad position. They needed us to move. I needed to get this matter solved plus my over billing I stated earlier. They directed me to their supposed company accountant. This lady was the most unprofessional, racist person I had ever met. When I met with her she was more fascinated to see where I was from. After letting her no several times that I did not wish to talk about that. I finally saw that I would have to play her game to get anything done. I told her I was Jewish. Now this is where it got very weird. She started making big anti-Semitic jokes, they were very vulgar. When I asked to her to stop, she replied that it was okay because her friend was Jewish. I guess that’s how she justified it in her head. She was also bad mouthing different companies that rent space in the office. If your a tenant there let me tell you this, the accountant made it clear that if you made a complaint it would not get addressed. After demanding to see a manager I was finally able to make a appointment. The manager was very nice and she apologized for the mistake they had made with the office. When I let her know what the accountant had said to me she let me know that she wasn't shocked. Apparently this is not the first time their accountant had done this. LONG STORY SHORT STAY AWAY STAY AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE JEWISH STAY AWAY. THIS PLACE NEEDS A MORE ADULT STAFF.
