Hollywood Soundz Entertainment Derek Dause, owner of Hollywood Soundz takes money and runs!! Grand Junction Colorado
Derek Dause, owner of Hollywood Soundz, claimed to have a wedding show to be held Sunday on March 9, 2009. I called the Lincoln Barn, were the event was to be held, and they tell me that they have no contract or booking for a wedding show on that date. I call Mr Dause and find his cell phone disconnected and his web site is also no longer available. I left a message on his business number. Mr Dause calls me on the Friday before the show to inform me that the show had to be moved to March 30, 2008, due to a error on the Lincoln Park Barn side.
I called the Lincoln Park Barn today (March 26, 2008) and they don't have anything going on for that date at their barn.
I paid Mr. Dause $150.00 for booth space, only to learn that me as well as several other caters have been fooled by this person. At present I have left messages for Mr. Dause to call me, but call has been returned.

On May 1, 2008 Derek Dause, owner of Hollywood Soundz went to court on the $150.00 owed to me. Mr. Dause told the court that the $150.00 was all that he owed to me, but the court and I saw it differently. The court said that Mr. Dause was to pay Kosher Catering $450.00 instead of the $150.00 for all the out of pocket cost that was incured by Mr. Dause's wedding no show.
Mr Dause agreed to the amount and he said he would be able to pay me on June 2, 2008. Mr Dause wanted to mail the funds by certified mailing, but due to so many things of Mr. Dause sends does not make it to anyone, I suggested we meet back here in the court at 11:00am for the certified funds to be handed over in person. The court agreed with me, even if Derek did not.
So on June 2, 2008 Derek Dause showed with certified funds in hand at alittle before the 11:00 hour.
It was hard to believe that from March 31, 2008 to June 2, 2008 it would a court action to get Hollywood Soundz to refund my money and pay for all the trouble and stress he did to me.
For all thoses still wanting your money, I strongly suggest the small claim court and a friend that can get Derek Dause served, because getting him served is going to be the hardest part of the legal proceedings.
