Hollywood Tans I bought a 3 month unlimited tanning package & 3 bottles lotion denied tanning access after 1 month unless I bought more lotion. Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania
I purchased a 3 month unlimited tanning package and 1 bottle of lotion on July 8, 2009. On the 21st of July, I purchased a 2nd bottle of lotion because I didn't feel like I was getting a good tan. On the 28th of July, I upgraded my package to a stronger tanning level and another(3rd) bottle of lotion. On August 11, 2009, I walked into Hollywood Tans in Brodheadsville and the 22 year old kid and owner, Joey, told me that I had to purchase another bottle of lotion(which would make it 4 bottles in 1 months time) because they expire in 1 month. I was then denied access to tan unless I bought the new lotion. That is 3 bottles that they won't let me finish using that I bought from them. I called the company that made the lotion and they said that the lotion is good for 18 months once it was opened.
When I purchased my 3 month package, not Joey or anyone else that works there told me that I would have to buy a new lotion for every month I tan. On the contrary, Joey told me that their lotion never expired. The Brodheadsvill location in which i go to never had clean towels, no soap or paper towels in bathroom. They do not clean the booths.
I find this to be outrageous and should not be tolerated!!
p.s. my 2nd and 3rd bottle were purchased at later dates and I didn't even have them for 2-3 weeks let alone a month before they wouldn't allow me to use them(so they still should have been good by their "1 month standard")
