Hollywood Video A.R.M. Solutions Collections letter received on 1/25/12 re: DVDs rented in 2009 supposedly not returned - scam Camarillo, California
I received a collections letter sent in January 2012 about 5 titles that I have rented in 2009 that were supposedly not returned, saying I owe $53.45. I returned the DVDs when they were due back in 2009. I have heard nothing from Hollywood video for 3 years and now I receive this letter out of the blue. I couldn't even rent 5 DVDs at a time, they wouldn't let you rent new titles unless you returned what you had (I think 3 was the limit); now they're saying I have not returned 5.
