I am a member of the PowerPlay movie rental system @ Hollywood video.  My payment of 27 dollars and change is taken from my account every month.  A couple weeks ago, on our way out of town, my husband and I stopped in to rent some movies.  I was told then that the store was closing and that I couldn't rent any, only purchase with my remaining credits.  Well, we were on our way out, had our RV in the parking lot and I didn't have time to look through movies to purchase.  At least renting them, if you get one that sucks..you just return it, right!  So I went away for the two weeks, return to find  that the company has filed bankruptcy and now they must wait until the court tells them what to do with customer's remaining credits.  Well, after researching I found that this company debited the money from my account on May 4th and on the 9th they discontinued the program, now unable to do anything about my credits.  Because credits roll over, I probably have close to $80 worth.  If they were discontinuing the program in 5 days, why did they debit my account knowing that I was going to be unable to redeem them.  So Hollywood Video...YOU SUCK!  I am just so happy that you could go out like that, pay your CEO with all the money that you stole from the customers.  Bad Faith!
Now you say, "We have to wait and see what the courts will allow us to do with those credits,"  YEAh Right!  You mean, wait and see what the court makes you do with the credits.  I got ripped off by you and I am pissed off.
Glad your bankrupt.  GO NxxX! (((REDACTED)))

I mean they told you they were going OUT OF BUSINESS and you were in too big of a rush to blow out of town in your rv. You couldn't take the 5 or 10 minutes to pick out a couple of dvd's to use up your credits. Should have used 'em when you could.
