Holmes Inspection Services Robert O'Rourke Home inspection service that didn't inspect much of anything Newton New Jersey
We hired Holmes Inspection Service to inspect the house we were about to buy. Mr. O'Rourke was sexist and condescending and missed the following:
1. The dishwasher did not work. No water was entering the machine. Mr O'Rourke's report indicated that the dishwasher worked fine.
2. The washer and dryer were not even hooked up. Mr. O'Rourke's report indicated that both were hooked up and working fine.
3. The master shower leaked into the kitchen the very first time we used it.
4. The A/C did not work despite the fact that Mr. O'Rourke's report said it did
5. The garbage disposal didn't work.
When we filed a claim, the company's response was that we were responsible for "doing a walkthrough" before closing. Sounds like we were responsible for doing the entire inspection ourselves which makes me wonder what we were charged for in the first place.
