MY HUSBAND AND I HAD SAVE SOME MONEY UP AND HAD DECIDED WE WERE GOING TO PURCHASE A NEW FAMILY VEHICLE BECAUSE OUR FAMILY WAS GROWING BUT OUR CARS WEREN'T... WELL WE WENT TO SEVERAL PLACES AND HAD GOTTEN TURN DOWN WITHOUT A CO-SIGNER WE DIDN'T HAVE VERY GOOD CREDIT AND WE DIDN'T WANT TO INVOLVE OUR FAMILY SO WE DECIDED AFTER HEARING A COMMERCIAL ON THE RADIO TO GO TO HOLMES MOTORS AND CHECK IT OUT... WHEN WE GOT TO HOLMES MOTORS CHOOK THE SALESMAN THAT HAD ASSISTED US SHOWED US THE 06 NISSAN PATHFINDER THAT IN THE END WE HAD PURCHASED. WE WERE SKEPTICAL AT FIRST BECAUSE OF THE VEHICLES MILEAGE WHICH WAS JUST OVER 200,000 MILES AND HAD DECIDED NOT TO GET IT BUT CHOOK KEPT PUSHING THAT NISSANS AND HONDAS AREN'T EVEN REALLY BROKEN INTO UNTIL ABOUT 150,000 MILES AND IT WAS PRACTICALLY IN THE BEST SHAPE IN THE PARKING LOT. SO WE WERE TOLD WE ONLY HAD A 2 DAY WARRANTY AND DIDN'T INFORM US WE HAD AN OPTION TO PURCHASE A LONGER WARRANTY. ( I SEEN MY CAR SALESMAN IN THE JAILHOUSE TIMES A MONTH LATER FOR DRUNK DRIVING). SO EVERYTHING WAS OK FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND 3 WEEKS AND THEN i WAS DRIVING MY FRIEND AND HER GRANDCHILD AND MY 2 KIDS IN THE CAR WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY HOOD WAS SMOKING AND MY CAR WAS LOSING POWER GOING DOWN HIGHWAY 49. SO I PULLED OVER AND AUTO ZONE WAS JUST RIGHT THERE CONVENIENTLY AND REMOVED ALL THESE KIDS FROM THE VEHICLE THEN I ASKED THE EMPLOYEES AT AUTO ZONE TO PLEASE HELP ME AND THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T ALLOWED TO TOUCH ANYTHING ON THE VEHICLE AND I NEEDED TO KEEP IT THERE TO COOL DOWN. i CALLED HOLMES MOTORS AFTER I CALLED MY HUSBAND FOR HELP, AND ASK THEM WHY OUR NEW FAMILY VEHICLE WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OVER HEATED AND POURING WATER AND THIER RESPONSE TO ME WAS THAT THER'SE NO LEMON LAW IN MISSISSIPPI AND THEY HAD ALREAY HAD ME SIGN A CONTRACT AND MY OPTIONS WERE TO BRING IT BACK ,THEY GET TO KEEP THE 4,000 DOLLARS I HAD ALL READY PUT ON IT OR FIX IT AND KEEP IT AND IF I WAS LATE ON MY PAYMENT BECAUSE I HAD TO GO FIX IT THEY WOULD IMPOUND MY VEHICLE ANYWAYS. SO I FELT TRAPPED AND PERSUADED INTO A CONTRACT I FULLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND ON A VEHICLE THAT I HAD TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION IN LESS THEN 6 MONTHS DRIVING IN. SO BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK AND GO TO SCHOOL I NEED THE CAR SO IM STUCK BUYING SOMETHING I REALLY DIDN'T WANT AND CAUSES ME PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME BUT IN ORDER TO FEED MY CHILDREN IM TRAPPED INTO THIS EVEN THOUGH I WISH I COULD AFFORD TO BRING IT BACK AND TELL THEM WHAT KIND OF CROOKED THIEVES THEY ARE PRAYING ON PEOPLES INNOCENSE .
