I was contacted by Home Credit Law Center, they said they could get my mortgage reduced and
eliminate my second mortgage.  Derek Thomas promised me that he would be in constant contact with me, and that they had contacted the Mortgage Company and he would be giving me updates every step of the way.  Well they never contacted the Mortgage Company.

Shortly after they deducted the first payment of $800.00 from my checking account I was unable to get in contact with them.  They wanted $1000.00 a month for 3 months, I told them that I didnt have all of the money, that I would mail $200.00 at a later date.

A week went by without hearing anything from them, so I held on the $200.00 check unitil I talked to someone, but everytime I called I would get a voicemail, never a live person.  I sent several emails to Derek, still no response.

I began to feel very uneasy because I didnt know what was going on, I couldnt talk to anyone, so
I contacted my bank to reverse the $800.00 they took out of my checking account and stopped all
future transactions.  The bank opened an investigation, and the fee was reversed.

I decided to google Home Credit Law Center, and wasnt too shock to learn that the state had shut them down for operating a license.

We commenced work on this client's file in early April.  We completed the evaluation of her file, the forensic review of her original loan documents and the violation letter to her lender.  However, after we had completed this work she expressed concerns about her communications with Derek Thomas.  Given that Derek Thomas does not work for Home Credit Law Center, we could not comment directly on her experience with him; however, as a show of good faith we agreed to cancel her file and we also agreed to allow the chargeback of the original $800 that she had paid us - giving her our work free of charge.  We are sorry that this client has chosen to cancel her service, but we wish her the absolute best.

Home Credit Law Center claims that they have agreed to refund my money, that is not true,
I have not spoken to anyone from that company since I first filed this report.

And as for Derek Thomas, he was employed with HCLC at the time I wrote this report, so I
have no clue as to what they are saying, I have not spoken with anyone, everytime I
try to call, all I get is an answering service, never a live person.

But since they claim that they have agreed to refund my money, I will contact them today
to take them up on their offer, that's if I can get someone on the line.
