 I logged in to make a purchase of the "Daily advertised special" of deck restoring products at 60% off. My store is set for my login and came up accurately. However, when I completed the purchase of my cart, the store pick-up location changed to a store 3 states and 6 hours away. In addition, it changed one of the items to a "ship-to" rather than the in-store pickup I had designated. When I called online customer service I was told the item that was scheduled for in-store pickup at the wrong store could not be picked up at my store (my suggestion when they said all they ould do is cancel the order) because the store would not be able to provide the discounted pricing, despite the fact that the site caused the probnlem. So rather than allow a regular local customer to obtain a $20 discounted item at their store they prefer to lose a customer. Great customer service, Not!. I am remodeling my 63 year-old home and will be making all of my purchases at my local Lowe's, never to purchase so much as a nail at Home Depot locally or online. I would suggest if you are looking for customer service, you do the same.
