Wrote letter 7/4/03 to Home Depot, Inc. concerning our account not credited for adjustment amount of finances to be returned since 2 promotionals were paid off prior to due dates of 5/28 & 6/28. Last chk cleared bank 6/27/03 with balance of zero. Last statment received 5/2003.

7/23 ltr from Monogram Credit Bank of Georgia 800-677-0232. Their reply was "As of the date of this letter, our records indicate that your account has a zero balance". Signed by Akash Kularni, Customer Service Rep.

Next I sent msg to them thru Home Depot on-line services. Their reply was "Already answered by letter & records indicate we paid $55.91".

My next reply sent by on-line services was 8/6/2003.
According to my records and your billing statements, You charged us $76.99 finance charges from period 1/6/03 to 5/6/03. Our payments have always been early and never late. We have never received a credit for $55.91 - the incorrect amount!

My next step is to report Home Depots' fradulent promotions to the Better Business Bureau & BadBusinessBureau.com.

I'm tired of fighting with you people! I sent this e-mail again on 8/9, but did not reply to either!

Be careful about their supposedly credit of finances charges when paying off account early. They don't mean it. The credit card bank has some incompetent people!
