I have two toilets but they keep clogging all the time, therefore, after searching around, I found out American Standard Powerwash is the best for clogging problem and they are very high rating. Though Home Depot doesn't have those styles in their stores, I have to make a special order online. After a weeks I got my order and have an acquaintance installed for me(we haven't paid him yet, but I called around and the cheapest one charge $250 each, and therefore, we decided to pay him that amount) After Installing, and I started using and found out these products not good as the ads from American Standard officially youtube website, the flush not that strong, and the tanks were too small. I do little research and check the box they sent to me and found out that they send the same brand, styles but the model numbers are completely different. I search online and the one they sent to me the one a lot cheaper than and around $135. I came to their store and asked for that and they said I have to bring to their store for a refund since I have already installed and about to pay $500 for the installation fee, and they denied to install for me if I bought the right one. So, if I ordered the new one, I have to pay for another $500 to install, else keep those wrong s**t ones. I don't believe this was a mistake since this is "special order" and it was an online order, not a telephone order, and the word "POWERWASH"(the one I want) completely different with FloWise(the one they sent). What a smart trick either way if you return to them, you will lose $500 if you keep them, you have to stand for s* products. Good job Home Depot!

This is completely SCAM SCAM SCAM.How can this is a mistake when this is special online order? This is a very smart mistake when a $230 of products to $130? the price $100 difference. How CAN THIS MISTAKE WHEN I ORDERED TWO TOILETS BUT BOTH OF THEM ARE WRONG and label as "MISTAKE". If I bought a toilet and you sent me refrigerator that is a mistake. You have multi-levels to verify your items since this was online order and SHIP THEM TO LOCAL HOME DEPOT. That means you made the special order from American Standard company you have to verify before you receive them. Then you have to verify before you sent to your local store and you have to verify when your local store hand out to customers. How do I know the difference of the toilets since two model exactly the same? I don't see any difference of the two toilets from the shape, color...but thank for my old toilets keep clogging and I'm very sensitive about that. After installing and FLUSH I saw that is not as powerful as the American Standard official videos on youtube. NO ONE CAN TELL IF THESE TWO MODELS are difference the only differences are the ONE I bought more powerful flush than the s**t you sent to me, the one I bought is more expensive than the s**t you sent to me, the one I bought as state on American Standard more durable than the s**t you sent to me. And the very small model numbers on bar codes. I told my friend and he said if you are not that sensitive about your clogging toilet, you were cheated by HOME DEPOT. THAT IS SMART SCAM since the two toilets you sent and the one I ordered completely same. I doubt it if this is a mistake.

You received the wrong item, and that unfortunately does happen sometimes.

However, YOU had multiple opportunities to verify the correct model BEFORE you had it installed and incurred any costs for installing.  Including apparently just looking at the box and noticing that the model was not the same name.

Now, if the wrong one was sent then yes they are responsible for it and are allowing you to return them.  However, they have nothing to do with and are not responsible for the installation costs.  If for the fact that this is something that you should have reasonably been able to determine before you incurred any extra costs.
