Complaint Review: Home Exteriors Of Fayetteville Inc

They had me sign an addendum to the contract to cover extra work I wanted done, specifically a window replacement for $300.  They did not give me a copy of this addendum.  Now, they are trying to sue me for more than $9,500 ABOVE the contract price.  They took this addendum AFTER I signed it, and added a whole list of charges above my signature, then used this doctored contract to file a lien and lawsuit against me.  Luckily for me, they were unaware that at the time I signed it, I took a photo of it which clearly shows only the $300 and nothing else.  It is costing me thousands in attorney fees and several days of missed work to defend myself against their scare tactics and deceptive practices.  If you don't like contractors who try to intimidate you, talk over you, yell at you in your own home, condescend to you, and then commit FRAUD to sue you for twice the contract amount, don't do business with Home Exteriors of Fayetteville.
