At first, My wife and I had only planned to spend what we had saved for the past 3 years ($3,000.00)on some "much overdue furniture" While shopping at HOME GALLERY FURNITURE SUPERSTORE a salesman told us that we could save alot of money if we took advantage of the "NO INTEREST UNTIL 2007" promotion. He went on, telling us that we could purchase more than we had to spend by financing the rest at zero interest, but when he told us that HOME GALLERY would PRICE GARRANTEE PLUS 10% WE WERE SOLD. We signed a contract for over $12,000.00 of Ashley & Berkline furniture.

At this time, the owner / president (Steve Moniz)congradulated us on our purchase and assured us that we were buying the best furniture at the best price, garranteed by his policy. Apperently Mr. Moniz didtnt research the compitition.

Before the furniture was delivered (by coincidence) I found the same Ashley pieces $2,000.00 cheaper elsewhere. I called HOME GALLERY for a price adjustmet, they told me to bring proof. So when I did, I found that the salesman that took my order had been let go, and the owner had taken over my purchase. Steve Moniz was no longer the courteous gentlemen we first met, in fact
he was a JERK. He held on to over $2,500.00 of my money for over 4 months to tell me that he has the right to refuse service to anyone. Apparrently Steve Moniz thinks that gives him the right to renege on our contract. I invite (On my behalf) any law office or goverment agency to intervene and teach Steve Moniz that he can't cheat the consumer all the time.

HOME GALLERY is a member of the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and they had a good report, but after filing my complaint with them, they still have good report.

I've concluded that the "BBB" is influinced by one of their members and put the consumer last and or the quality of service the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU is POOR and or CORRUPTED. Either way, the "BBB" has prooven useless and I don't trust them for reliable reports on business.

MASSAGE TO STEVE MONIZ: WARNING PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR IMPROPER SELLING PRACTICES IS ENOUGH.. (YOU'L LOOSE IN THE LONG RUN, AND BIG I HOPE)

I will not waste my time any longer responding to someone who is not honest and operates in this fashion. We have been selected as the top retailer in the country and why may you ask because we are honest and operate with ethics. I will stand by our prices as well as our service. This location is doing wonderful and we will continue to be successful because we treat people with care and we work hard at our business. I encourage anyone to call me or our store and I believe you will see how we respond and how we treat the local public. We have a great B&B report and that is because we have been in business over 20 years and since 1982 in the Lancaster/Palmdale area so our history speaks for us.

We would not be in business for so long if we did not treat people with care and concern. I encourage all who read this to understand the source of information and I can sleep at night because I know I am being honest and sincere. I still have faith in people and enjoy working with clients.

POOR MR. MONIZ @ HOME GALLERY (JERK)

The public doesn't have to beleive me, they just have to here me, FOREGET THOSE CROOKS AT HOME GALLERY, and try this: Get the model # and the price of the item you like at HOME GALLERY and compare them at H&E (home improvements Lancaster)(YAH, IT'S TRUE, THEY SELL FURNITURE) And HOME-MAKERS in Santa Clarita, You wont get a cookie or a soda offered to you at these stores, but I got free delivery on all my funiture and on top of that, I SAVED OVER $2,000 ON THE SAME ASHLEY FURNITURE I ALMOST BOUGHT FROM THOSE LIARS AT HOME GALLERY. It's very important that you get the name of the manufature along with sku / model # of the piece you like and don't foreget the price (this will show you how much HOME GALLERY is OVERPRICING THERE FUNITURE) There are three other funiture store,s that will beat HOME GALLERY PRICES. And not by a few dollars, I'm talking about 20 and UP PERCENT. Don't limit your self to ASHLELY funiture, they also have alot of other top name brands.

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, THESE FUNITURE STORES ARE IN BUSINES TO MAKE YOUR MONEY THEY'RE MONEY, BUT "HOME GALLERY" WANTS TO CHARGE YOU MORE FOR THE THE SAME STUFF, IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

I'VE ALSO LEARN THAT A BUSINES THAT IS A MEMBER OF THE BETTER BUSINES BUREAU (BBB) WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE A FAVORABLE LISTING ON THE BBB'S WEB SITE, UNLIKE A NON-MEMBER WILL BE TRASHED TALKED BY THE BBB UNTILL THEY BECOME A DUE-PAYING MEMBER,

IN CONCLUSION: THE CUMSUMER WILL NEVER BE FIRST PRIORITY WHEN DEALING WITH A DUE-PAYING BUSINES MEMBER. "BUYER BEWARE" (of HOME GALLERY AND THE JERK WHO OWNS IT)(STEVEN MONIZ)

BUYER'S REMORSE

It's unfortunate that Mr.Conrad Niblina had buyer's remorse after concluding his transaction with Home Gallery Furniture. In his effort to slander and intimidate this business and Mr. Moniz personally he grossly misstated the facts and distorted the impeccable reputation of Home Gallery and other wholly owned businesses by Mr. Moniz, that will continue to have an outstanding record with respected consumer agency's, such as the Better Business Bureau.

We stand behind our 110% price guarantee and provided with proper proof will indeed price match.

After 2 weeks of our refusal to discount the price, due to our repeated request to Mr. Nablina to provide proper price match proof,we immediately refunded his initial deposit. Mr. Nablina's deposit was sent out on 4 different occasions, Via Certified mail, Federal Express, and Personal Service to which he refused. Eventually his refund was sent regular mail, which he finally accepted and cashed.

We have made every reasonable attemp to satisfy Mr. Neblina and after our interactions with him we "Reserved Our Right" to no longer offer our products to him.

To write such a scornful letter why would this customer return to our store after initiating this chain of events and try to repurchase his canceled furniture order, at the FULL PRICE?

We hope that Mr. Niblina has found a relationship with another furniture store and is satisfied with his purchase..
