Trinity Restoration had an F rating with the BBB and their license was revoked. Their vice president was Melvin Archer, who is on Home Guard Exteririors license with an address of 1248 Remington Rd. Ste A in Schaumburg, Il 60173. Trinity's address was 1240 Remington Rd. Ste A in Schaumburg, Il 60173.
If you look up Trinity Restoration via google you'll see that Jeff Vagle was the manager at Trinity Restoration, and Melvin Archer was the vice president, and you'll see their F rating. Their phone number is disconnected. Jim Vagle, Jeff's brother, also worked there. Jim and Jeff Vagle now own Home Guard Exteriors, which is now located in 525 Tennessee Ave, Mitchell IL, 62040.
Beware if you have already used them and have a warranty on your roofing because these slimeballs have a bad history of leaving town when things go bad. IF you need repairs in a few years you won't be able to find them. You need to try to get your money back from them--NOW before it is too late. If they won't give it back you need to contact the BBB, the attorney general's office, and the IL state license office.
They are now conducting business out of their rental house in Mitchell IL. Since they don't even have an actual office, they can skip town any time things get rough. They are also using the same work crews from the Chicago area that they used when they were Trinity Restoration--where they got an F rating. Bad Reputation, Change Name, Move Locations--SAME PEOPLE!

For being a consumer you only say home guard is okay.you are that idiot storm chasing crook jim vagle.everything I predicted with home guard happened.I was never fired you idiot as I was 1099 and you did rip me off on my commissions.since home guard didn't pay their venders for shingles they got on credit,now their customers are getting liens put on their houses by their suppliers to pay for shingles.and home guard no is disconnected as they going shutting down business in granite city, il. and going back to Chicago. So now all their customers are left with liens on their houses and worthless warranties just like I predicted.so jim vagle is nothing but a complete failure who basically steals from his customers.what a scumbag

The person who wrote this nasty and scathing report is an 'Ex' employee who was fired, from complaints of our customers of him being not conducting him self in a profesional manner. This person, Mike Goodman was released and properly paid, a discrepency of $280 dollars made him so mad, he started a smear campain, which the Illinois State police actualy called him......and told him to cease and decist. When Mike told them he'd stop if they just pay him.[ Thats extortion folks]. The 'Truth' is Jim and Jeff Vagle did work FOR Trinity only as Managers of the Chicago office of nation wide company.
Not as the owners of that company. Their reputation in Chicago was flawless. They were then so discusted with how Trinity was being ruined with upper managment, they quit 8mo BEFORE Trinty got the 'F' rating, to start there own company. Check the BBB -NO COMPLAINTS and many happy customers, Homeguard exteriors is above board and only this idiot Mike Goodman who is a ghost and cant be found and is posting untruths , is the only person you should be aware of!
