Home Health United is a RIP OFF!!!

This is a company who sits on orders when they come in and doesnt let the patient know that their parts are in, They remove pieces from chairs to "replace" them, and sell BAD/DEFECTIVE batteries and do NOT accept returns for their own defective merchandise!

I am in a chair (have been since '01).  I contacted HHU for needed batteries, a broken connection plug under the shroud of my chair and wheels/tires.

First I waited 4 MONTHS for parts they had IN for 3 1/2 months (Prior auths were already completed).

My mistake?  I complained!  They took my chair to replace the broken connector and when it was returned to me (BTW the connector was NEVER replaced although it was charged as such-My hubby had marked it and it came back UNTOUCHED)  I no longer was back in my chair less than 5 minutes after they left when I leaned over a bit too far and FELL OUT of my chair because the bolt from the arm of my chair had been REMOVED!! My husband looked all over inside and out for that darned bolt but it was NOWHERE to be seen!

They then gave me a BAD set of batteries (I had them checked at BP and they were OLD/USED and had BAD SPOTS in them!) but they charged my insurance for NEW ONES!

I went through the grievance procedure and was subsequently told by the vice president of the company since I complained that "I should find someone else to fix my chair as they are now refusing to service my chair".

I have since filed fraud complaints with Medicaid and I was assured that first of all I was "Not the only one who has had serious complaints about them" and that they are doing a full investigation with the regards to fraud (and it was "not the first time").

BEWARE!
