I recently relocated and hired Marlon off referral from my Realtor at Berkshire Hathaway (trustworthy name, right?). I spoke with Marlon directly and he told me that he would meet me at the property for inspection (Lie #1). One of Marlon’s employee’s showed up to the appointment instead (late), but no biggie. Nice older gentleman. Halfway through the inspection his employee fall through the ceiling (my agent is also present for the incident). After learning the man is okay we discuss completing the inspection and steps to address the damage.

The long and short of it is that Marlon has refused to take responsibility for the damage caused or half-a*s inspection which I learned overlooked exposed wiring, penetrations to the home, complete voids in the home, etc. incredibly obvious misses to an untrained eye...which are costing me money. Marlon has on multiple occasions a outright refused to provide his companies insurance information. After 5 months of having to be harassed by myself, my realtor and my broker he is still trying to bring in contractors under the table to correct the issue. I am just baffled at the unprofessionalism I’ve seen in dealing with him.

Not only is his professionalism unethical, his marketing material proudly displays a fish, a symbol of Christianity and Christ-like behavior. Marlon also runs paid services to drive his "high-ratings” but anyone with a keen eye that spends more than 5 minutes researching him will find this is not an isolated event. I reported Marlon to the BBB. He outright denied my information and after referring the BBB to reach out to my realtor he pulled his business listing from the site. If anyone knows how I may report this unethical business behavior to prevent others from falling victim to his lousy at best service, kindly let me know.
