HSN refuses to offer my husband the deferred payment account. They say they declined us for this but when the sent us the laptop computer we assumed it was approved. The computer was purchased over-the-phone from a television promotion special advertising deferred payments for one year. They waited until October to start the billing process which was 3 months after the purchase. It was then that we knew we were not granted a deferred payment account. If we had known this we would have declined the offer but they accuse us of accepting it under flex pay which means that the payments should have started one month after the purchase over the phone. We feel they delayed the payments knowing that we expected deferred payments and would have cancelled the order if we had received a bill after the first 30 days.

IF they waited to bill you for three months then that was a 3 month deferred payment. IF they gave you flex pay, they would have taken out one payment when they sent you the product then every month for x number of months the same payment.

Stop whinning the payments WERE DEFERRED for 3 months. (but I'll bet the interest was not deferred)

They basically accused me of consenting to have a flex payment arrangement place under my husbands account number which is not true. The purchase of made in July 2008 and the waited until October of 2008 to start the billing process.
