I purchase a rca didgital comcorder from the home shopping network in february of 2002 the user guide states that you can order a firewire from rca but before I purchased it from rca and purchase one from radio shack and circuit city neither one work the wire did not fit my port on my pc I have sent the item back to hsn Home shopping Network paid to have it insured and delivery confirmation and the kept the item and then sent it back so I phone them they told me they no longer take back items over 30 days and I was told to contact rca and I did this I have not gotten anywhere with then also. Now I have a camcorder and a firewire that is no good to me I have been tolded that I will have fine a adapter which I should not have to do.

I have purchased many items from HSN (Home Shopping Network) including food, cookware, a cordless phones, a handheld television, a DVD home theater system, and a convection oven. Except for the food and cookware, I have returned the electronic items and oven unused within a week after I changed my mind because had decided that I really had no use for them. HSN credit my credit card within a few days of receipt of the returned merchandise.

I find it hard to believe that HSN would hold your returned RCA camcorder and then return it after the 30 day trial period. HSN does stand by the refund policy provided you return the items before 30 days. Did you contact HSN right after the camcorder was delivered? I have always gotten an email message from HSN telling me that they have received my returned merchandise and they they would be crediting my credit card.

I recently returned a DVD/radio home theater system because the rear speakers were weak (total speaker wattage 130 watts). I received my refund within a few days.
