Homeadvisor Cliff Butler Unauthorized charge to credit card. Lied about services provided. Golden Colorado

I was contacted by Homeadvisor several years ago and tried their business listing and referral service. After less than one month I cancelled the service due to incorrect leads not related to my business.  They recently called me again to state they had purchased Angie's List and they had completely reorganized there platform to work better. The sales associate Cliff Bulter stated he needed my credit card information just to start the process, but assured me that my card would not be charged until I decided to open an account. I emailed Cliff Butler immediately after stating that under no uncertain terms was Homeadvisor authorized to charge my card. After speaking to a business owner who is currently using the service I decided it was not for me.  However, five days later my card was charged the annual membership fee.  I was furious and called Mr. Bulter.  His demeanor of the phone was completely different when he was reminded that I never authorized a charge to my card. He was rude and began making false statements regarding our initial converation with respect to signing up for the service. I spent the better part of 30 minutes attempting to reach somebody who could refund my charge and close my account. After some checking on the Internet I see that I'm not alone. There are numerous complaints about Homeadvisor and their business practices.  I CANNOT RECOMMEND HOADVISOR TO ANY BUSINESS. USE GOOGLE ADWORDS INSTEAD.
