My complaint against Homecoming Financial is like so many others I've read. I was in a Bankruptcy and paid them $38K in 4 years. After the bankruptcy was over in Dec. 2007 my attorney and myself began trying to get a pay-off on my home. (I only owed $47K to start). After numerous registered letters from me to them and letters from my attorney to them, neither one of us received anything until this past Friday. I got a notice of impending foreclosure, I owed them $9630.00 in back payments and an additional $46K!

After 15 months of trying to get information from them and them refusing to respond, now they want my home, I had to file another bankruptcy today to avoid that. What are my other options at this point? I know in Tennessee their refusal to give me the pay-off amount is grounds for dismismal of the forclosure, but I don't know about Arkansas. I'm interested in a class action suit if there is one out there.
