In July of 2004 my now ex-husband left me with a $1400 a month mortgage after we were in the process of getting a divorce and I had already leased another home and he agreed to stay in the home until we sold it. I explained this to Homecomings Financial and they agreed to work with me if I made partial payments and they sent me a package which I filled out and sent back with the name of my real estate agent selling the home.

They agreed to hold off on the foreclosure process and work with me stating they didn't want the home they just wanted the loan to be made "Good". After a month with one real estate company, I signed with a remax real estate agent and sent homecomings daily updates and they assured me that nothing would happen and they would work with me.

Finally I found a buyer that was an investor and was willing to take a HUGE cut in my equity just to sell the home to make good on the loan, they buyer was in contact with homecomings to western union the funds and homecomings refused the funds and proceeding with the foreclosure. That was in December of 2004 that it foreclosed. It took until the following July to sell and in the meantime I found out that Homecomings own Real Estate agent had the home.

After the home foreclosed in December, they sent me a Letter in January stating they had a special department that could help me "keep" my home and help me through this process. What is up with these people!!!

I have went to the better business bureau, the bank and financial state departments and now I have an upcoming civil court case this month Feb.2006 (it took this long over 1 1/2 years) just to get a court date. I don't know what else I can do to right this injustice.
