OK...I am getting a little concerned. My loan was just sold to this company and just what the others have reported happened to them happened to me.
I sent in my payment early, and about 3 weeks later it came back to me in the mail stamped return to sender. They never even opened the envelope.
I attempted to contact them via their 800 number and could not get a live person to answer the phone. I finally called their sister company and got a direct line for them. It is (214)874-2500 in case you need it.
I spoke to an individual who said my account was not past due as of yet but suggested I make an automatic payment withdrawal from my checking account to cover the loan payment for this month.
I guess the only thing I can do now is to wait and see if they send me a letter stating that I am in default.
However, I want to play it safe and prepare for the worst. So if any legal action it taken against this company I want in. Better to be safe than sorry. Especially due to the consistency and number of complaints for this company.
