This is written to express my family's anger and frustration over dealing with Homecomings Finanical. This company has shown nothing but a extreme lack of professionalism and has provided an inferior quality of services due to its employees insensitivity, and under qualified and incompetent employees.

A few months ago we became behind on a loan payment. The fault of course was entirely ours. Our youngest daughter had to go away to college, my wife became pregnant, and we had to move from the property that we currently have mortgaged through Homecomings Financial. The new property that our family moved to required extensive repairs, and though both my daughter and my new born son were eligible to receive military assistance through me it took months for there paper work to be properly completed. The combination of all these events at once forced us into debt.

At this time we became behind on our loan payment we tried to work with Steve Lawson to correct the problem. At first we had sent in two payments to put us back on track (the next months payment and the late payment. Both were sent back to us, obviously putting us way behind. Instead we were told that Homecoming wanted us to lower our monthly payment.

We were instructed to fill out various forms detailing our financial situation. We filled out the forms and faxed them to the office as requested by Steve. When calling to check on the situation we were informed the paperwork was never received even through we had a fax transmission showing that all the papers had went through without error. We have had to refax them at least three times since then.

We never received any information on lowering our payments. Instead we received a phone call on a Tuesday informing us we had three days to pay 2,500 dollars our they would begin foreclosure proceedings! Though we have continued to try to work out this situation with Homecoming Financial we have yet to be able to reach anyone else and countless messages have been ignored. I only found out they had began foreclosure proceedings when I went to the website to send a email.

We would also like to display our frustration with one employee in particular. Steve Lawson, who was supposed to be assisting us with lowering our payment. Steve has been very discourteous to us on the phone on several occasions. Half the time he can't be reached, the remainder of the time he's just giving us the run around and seems to have no answers. Every one at Homecomings Financial seems to be giving us the run around and making up different excuses. After realizing that Steve Lawson could be of no use to us we requested to speak to the manager. We where told we could not speak to the manger instead they would explain our situation. On another incident we where told by Steve the manger was working in California and would call us from there within a matter of minutes. Needless to say a call never materialized and since this time over a week ago we have been unable to reach anyone at all.

Even before this occurred we have had countless problems with the customer service or lack there of available. We have called and had to wait from 30 to 45 minutes before talking to anyone, there seems to be no one there to answer the phones. Some times we have called and been hung up on. We have even left messages countless times and received no reply. We want to keep our home and are willing to do anything we have to do to hold on to this property. We have contacted a lawyer to seek additional steps on what we should do.

Please quit posting this stupid "contact customer service" BS....you people have no intention of helping your customers....you just want to get them on the phone to intimidate them. No one is paying any real attention to you. Please go away.
