my morgage was sold to homecomings three years ago and it has been a true nightmare. they have charged me for three years home owners incurance and i have had to prove to them 10 times i have my own policy. they have raised my intrest rate 3 times. they will not talk to me or send any paper work on my payments. my home flooded last year and it took 7 months for them to realese my money. i was sued by my contractor for not paying.
i keep trying to get my payment down they will not help they either say i make to much or cant afford my home at all. i have lived in it for 11 years and bought as a single woman buisness owner. my payment went from 721 per month to 1700 how can this be. they are the most uncustomer freindlly outfit i have ever come across.
please people lets do some selfpreservation. i want to conect with others and get to the bottom of this. there must be something that can be done. they will not give me my money paid out to my incurance either. when i made my last arangement with the company they said it was only for 6 months. now they said it was for 13. i cant make this payment any longer i want to keep my home.

well after a suposed modificTION i made with a women named ulanda or what ever she would not give a last name how strange of a practice that your banker would want to remain anonomouis? well now they will not acceprt my payments and have started forcloser for the third time in three years. i really cant begin to express the desperation i and a my family are feeling. we are thousands strong and are all in the same boat why is nothing being done its gone on for years i want to do some self help im not just bitching i want to take action if there is any body out there more savy than i please give me direction i will fight.

As you have probably already noted, there are hundreds of complaints about Homecomings Financial on this web-site. They all pretty much read like yours does.
From my own personal experience, you need to do everything you can to refinance your house with a reputable mortgage company. Try your local bank or credit union. If you can't, don't ever be late with a payment, or Homecomings will put you directly into foreclosure, and you will lose your home.
