Complaint Review: HoMedics Inc.

HoMedics Inc. Paid for a replacement filter and I never received my order. MI Commerce Twp

To Whomever this May Concern:        Re: HoMedics Inc.             30000 N Pontiac Trl,             Commerce wp, Mi             48390-2720   I ordered a "replacement filter" from this Company on 6/19, order #2060155712.  I paid them $68.58 for this filter, and NEVER RECEIVED THE FILTER FROM THIS COMPANY.  I telephoned Fed Ex and they said it was delivered to a "Brooklyn" address.  I clearly put my address which is in New York City.  HoMedics made the mistake sending this order to the wrong address and has refused to take responsibility.  They are saying that I made the mistake, but when I look on my account with Homedics, on their website, I see the "CORRECT" address was put into the account page when I ordered this product.   HoMedics has refused to take responsibility.  They told me they would "investigate" the matter and get back to me the next day.  THEY NEVER INVESTIGATED NOR DID THEY GET BACK TO ME.   In reading complaints from other customers regarding HoMedics Inc., I find that the complaints are extremely "similar" to mine.  HoMedics has refused to rectify this matter by either sending me a "replacement filter" or "refunding me the money".  Fed Ex told me to tell them to call Fed Ex giving them permission to "retrieve" the package.  HoMedics has refused to take any action.   This company has come questionable Customer Relations practices that should be investigated.  Someone should start looking at the many complaints against this company that are too similar to ignore.
