Hi, I had these guys clean my ducts. They do good work but they don't
move anything when the blow the junk around so your stuff gets coated
with the mess and they have a huge vacuum but they don't clean up
anything afterwords. My main complaint is they take credit cards but
they tack on a hidden 11% fee. They don't list this one there website or
tell you on the phone. i called and complained and I got the usual
response we'll note your complaint and did not take it seriously. My
licenced plumber and electrician doesn't charge me 11% to take a credit
card. Oh, they also charge you a out of suburb fee when your like 10
miles away. Needless to say the lost my repeat business

In response to the highly embellished report by Aaron Holland of 1202 Roosevelt St Anoka Mn 55303 (763) 757 7781. Mr Holland states that we made a huge mess and that we employ deceitful business practices by charging 11% is absurd.

We accept personal checks, postdated checks, cash, non-interest payments and all major credit cards. We do add a 5% credit card fee to all customers who use them, because Homeplace gets charged back 5% by the customers credit card company. Homeplace Furnace Inc feels that it is not fair to raise prices for everyone, in order for a select few to use their credit cards. So we place that 5% burden back on the credit card user.

Again, it is an option for the credit card to be used as payment. Bottom line, we do not enjoy having to add the credit card fee's, but we also do not feel its fair to raise prices for everyone, so a select few can use their credit cards.

This was merely an attack by Aaron Holland, who is a previous customer of Homeplace. We have serviced his home in the past, and obviously, quite well. Because he called us back for repeat service again this year, so the 'mess' accusation is unwarranted, slanderous and just deceitful.

Additionally: Aaron Holland opted to pay cash, so he was not charged any additional fees.
