Ordered a set of covers for a This End Up Sofa on 4.24.7. My credit card was charged 4.26.7. I was told 8 - 12 weeks for delivery. After 13 weeks, I began to call and leave messages on their customer no service line. When I finally did get a call back, I was told that they were terribly backed up and that the order was not expected to ship until some time in August. I was instructed to call back in mid-August to be given a ship date.
I called on 8.14.7 and was given a ship date of 8.20.7. I called after Labor Day (about 9.7.7) and was told that the order had been held up by a shipping computer problem and would be sent within the next week or so. I called in early October and was told on 10.2.7 that it would ship "No later than next week".
I filed a complaint with the VA department of consumer protection 10.22.7 and have been dealing with my credit card company in an attempt to dispute the charge. Of course by the time that I figured out that this is a total fraud, the charge was so old that it is a pain to dispute and is costing me time and money.
I have called Crate Furniture's customer no service number daily this week (10.22.7, 10.23.7, 10.24.7, 10.25.7 and 10.26.7), leaving the requisite infoirmation in an attempt to get anyone to even respond. This evening (10.26.7) I recieved a RECORDED telephone message that my fabris had been discontinued by the mill and that I should go to the web site for more options.
This is a ruse by Crate Furniture to make it look like they could not fulfill the order for reasons beyond their control. If I do not make another selection of fabric, they will say that I have not held up my end of the deal and walked away from their good faith offer of an alternative. They will never acknowledge the repeated lies and dishonesty which is the basis of their business.
Why does the state of VA allow this to continue? These people are CROOKS

We have been providing quality service for over 25 years, the largest fabric mill in the USA shut its doors leaving us to deal with a number of customers that could not get their products. All related customers will or have received product or been refunded depending on their particular situation. This customer received a full refund.
