Homeq a/k/a The Money Store Homeq Servicing Corp.aka The Money Store rip-off deceptive company dirty rip-off dogs consumer fraud thieves Sacramento, California
We were mislead by The Money Store in Dec.of 1995 when we purchased a home that was in severe disrepair.
Before the closing, I asked the representative of TMS if we could get the necessary funding along with the mortgage to make this place liveable.
They promised us everything we would need would beprovided.
5 minutes after the closing, I asked the rep. again about when we should expect to apply for the improvement loan, and he said,"we really need to see 12 consecutive payments before we can do that."
I had to GUT the entire house, rewire, plumb, and reconstruct the house from scratch which inevidably ran
me broke before I could get anywhere near to "liveable" condition.
Lost my self-employment status for over 5 yrs., and had to get a job to regroup myself. An understanding wife and 2 young kids were involved in this mess as well.
We found a mortgage broker on the internet that would refinance afte 2 years of hell, Parkway Mortgage from Kenilworth,NJ.
I was adiment about not wanting the note sold to The Money Store if it was sold. They assured us this would NEVER happen. They did refinance the place, but 6 months later disappeared off the face of the earth, and sold the mortgage back to...(Guess Who...?)Homeq.aka,The Money Store.
Thanks for ruining the last 7 years of a working mans life along with his young family's wellbeing.
