I got a home Improvement loan from the Money Store in 1997. The loan was purchased by tms/Home Q in 1998, while I was in Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I received my discharge papers October 20, 2005. I noticed HomeQ did what they wanted to do and applied all of the payments made by the Trustee's to the interest and none of the payments was applied to the principle. This went on for five years. HomeQ did not comply with a court order. I talked to the attorney handling the case; he stated he did not have any control over how Home Q applied the payments they received.

When I initially told him of this he made a comment and said you mean to tell me you paid them $15.000.00 and none of it was applied towards the principle. He said he would have to reopen the case and have a Judge review the case. He told me to request my payment history; I did of course the money had in fact been misapplied. I later called his office he refused to return any of my calls. I went to his office, he tried to dismiss me. I stayed until he talked to me. The original loan was $27,000.00 and their telling me I owe them $24,280.85.

At that point, he showed me this site I'm now on with you. Of course, he got his money; therefore, he wasn't bothered about my circumstances. I received information from HomeQ showing they are a Debt collector. Later I received a statement showing payments due.

No offense but I'm a believer. I know the Lord will right this wrong their doing to people. Peace be still.

Interest Only?

#5UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, February 29, 2008

There are some loans that are interest only, in which all your payments at the beginning pay the interest, then once all the interest is paid the payments begin going towards principal.

You can see that information on your original loan documents (which you can request, though there might be a fee) how your payments are supposed to be applied.

Maybe you need a new lawyer if all they could do was give you this web site. It would have been their responsibility to know how your money was being applied to your loan, that's what you paid them for.

Since I know Jesus personally and he tells me to pray for those that dispitefully misuse me, that is what I am going to do with you demons. I am placing you into the hands of the LORD, because vengance belongs to him and he can do more with all of you than I can ever imagine. You think what you're doing to us is nice, all I have to say to you is enjoy while you can. I can't stoop to your level, I must remain humble.

Take a good look at what happened 9/11 when those airplanes flew into those buildings. That was a warning from the LORD. You need to turn from your wicked ways and humble yourselves then he (JESUS) will heal the land. The love of money is the root of all evil. All of you need to search your hearts, because this may come upon you one day.

You may be dealt with in the same manner by the LORD or a illness could come upon you. All of you need to be careful how you're treating people, trying to take their homes, having a person credit in such a awful way until another trust worthy company will not try to help us. You may be riding high now, but Jesus is going to deal with all you in his season. You all are going to reap what you sow. You know who you are that are making these brillant corporate decisions.

I've had to file bankruptcy twice for the law to protect me from you evil people, trying to forclose on my home.

You should be ashame of yourselves. Take a look at the economy and it's getting worse.

Yours in Christ
Eva

Please submit a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. They are very swift in responding to your claim and starting an investigation. I have filed and many others as well. Together we can make HomEq responsible for their immoral business practices.
